She went on to graduate with the highest honours from the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, where she was awarded the coveted biennial prize for outstanding musicianship. As a recipient of numerous awards, Ms. Biasini travelled to the United States to pursue her studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she studied with Byron Janis and Miyoko Lotto. In addition, she worked closely with eminent pianists such as Nikita Magaloff, Dimitri Bashkirov, Alexis Weissemberg. Ms. Biasini made her North American debut at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was hailed by a critic as "a major talent with exceptional strength and power". Since then, she has performed extensively in the United States, in Europe and in Latin America; some of her festival appearances include the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, Michigan, , the Festival do Teatro Amazonas, Brazil; the Festival pro Mondo Uno, Assisi, Italy, and the International Festival Notomusica 1996, Noto, Italy. She has also appeared as a soloist with several orchestras, including the Santa Cecilia Orchestra, Budapest Symphony Orchestra "Pannonia", North Carolina Symphony, Kiev State Symphony Orchestra, Bolshoy Opera Minsk Orchestra. Ms. Biasini's performances have been broadcasted on radio and television in the United States, Latin America, France and Italy. |
